Pieceproof can be played on this website (“Web”) and on CrazyGames. The two are handled differently, so they are described separately below.

한국어 요약

개인정보 처리자 및 개인정보 보호책임자: 공경훈 · 연락처: [email protected]

1. Web (pieceproof website, /play/)

Game progress (stages, stars, daily results, settings) is stored only in your browser (localStorage). It is not sent to us. Clearing site data deletes it.

Gameplay statistics are off unless you say yes. A small prompt asks once, on the result screen after your third stage clear (never during play, never on your first clear). “Allow” and “No thanks” are equal; closing the prompt counts as “No thanks”, and you can keep playing without answering. Until you agree, nothing is sent and no identifier is created or stored. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the prompt is not shown and statistics stay off.

If you agree, the following applies:

2. CrazyGames

The CrazyGames version of Pieceproof contains no analytics of its own and sends no data to PostHog or to us. Game progress is saved through the CrazyGames data module (or kept in memory only if that module is unavailable). Ads, accounts and consent on CrazyGames are handled by CrazyGames under the CrazyGames privacy policy.

3. Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of personal information about you, and withdraw consent at any time, by contacting [email protected]. To delete statistics already sent, email [email protected] with your stats ID (game menu → Copy ID); we delete the data linked to that ID on request. Statistics are pseudonymous, so the ID is the only way to find them. Copy your ID before you press Reset ID or turn statistics off: after that the old ID is gone from your browser and we cannot locate its data.

Complaints: you may file a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (Korea, privacy.go.kr, call 182) or the Korea Internet & Security Agency privacy center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, call 118), or with the data protection authority where you live.
